A Direct Cremation (also known as an Unattended, Pure or Simple cremation) is a cremation with no funeral service, no ceremony performed beforehand, and no attendees. The ashes can be scattered at the crematorium or will be returned to the family to do with as they wish.

We will meet with you, discuss your wishes, advise you on registering the death and complete all the necessary paperwork.

We will treat the deceased with the same care and dignity that we afford to everyone.

We like to keep things local and use Treswithian Downs Crematorium at Camborne for unattended cremations. Some larger providers will transport the deceased across the country to a centrally located crematorium – we think it is more dignified and preferable to use a local facility.

If you wish, we will advise you when the cremation is taking place.

If you wish to to personalise our service (for example, by making a different choice of coffin) then we will discuss the options and costs with you.

In terms of costs, we charge £1,350 for collecting the deceased locally*, making the arrangements, completing the paperwork, providing a simple cardboard coffin, transporting the deceased to the crematorium, the cost of the cremation and return of the ashes afterwards.
